I'm Ryan, a commercial photographer based in the UK & available anywhere, specialising in outdoor lifestyle photography.
Documentary style outdoor lifestyle / product photography, capturing genuine moments as they naturally unfold in remote and wild places.
Having grown up in the Lake District National Park, I developed a deep appreciation for nature and the stunning landscapes that surround us. The rugged countryside of the valleys and peaks became my inspiration.
In 2019, I left my full-time job to pursue my freelance dream. Since then, I've had the privilege of working with leading brands in the outdoor, travel, and lifestyle industries.
I am able to shoot, direct, and produce projects of any size, and I enjoy bringing ideas to life with a creative and unique style. While my expertise is primarily in outdoor / product and lifestyle-style photography, my passion lies in being behind the camera. No matter the brief or subject, I love to shoot and get creative with every project. My photography style prioritises natural light whenever possible, though I’m comfortable incorporating additional lighting—whether continuous or flash. My goal is to create work that feels authentic and genuine.
